Without building your personal leadership capacity, you will inhibit both your personal and organisations' ability to change and growth. Leadership impacts performance and performance impacts growth. Growth will not happen if people do not perform.
Effective leadership builds more effective people, teams, and organizations that is why the Annual Ogun State PCRC Leadership Retreat instituted about three years ago has been vital to educating and enlightening leaders and members alike on the vision, mission and rudiments of governance of PCRC as a support-base of the Police and vanguard for community policing engagements.
The First Edition was held at Laleck Hotels and Suites, Orile Imo in Obafemi Owode Local Government area while the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro in Yewa South LG hosted the second edition. This year's edition code named 'MAGBOGIJO 2024' with the Theme; 'Energizing PCRC Members For Better Service Delivery' is billed for two different cities, Magboro and Ogijo in Ogun State and will hold 6th and 8th August, 2024 respectively.
It is no doubt that these leadership training has done a lot in projecting the image of the PCRC positively to the public as well as enriching the leadership base of the organisation quality-wise.
Participation is mandatory for all executive members from the State to the units as well as other members. This year's edition is also open voluntarily for intending members, CDAs, CDC and trade associations.
